Hamarikyu Garden: A short ride on a train, subway or water bus takes you to this beautifully landscaped park at the northern end of Tokyo Bay. Originally built in the 17th century for a feudal lord, Hamarikyu has since been opened to the public. The historic park is known for its restored Edo architecture, seawater ponds, walking paths, forested areas, a charming teahouse on an island and, more recently, views of Shiodome district’s spectacular skyscrapers.
